This was a wonderful opportunity to be programmed in the Red Earth Arts Festival, and to be able to meet and and dance with members of the Karratha, Wickham and Point Samson communities in the Pilbara.
HUGE thanks to the REAF 2025 Team!

Lifespan Dance continues to bring Seated Dance to the regional communities of WA.

A celebration of this milestone was celebrated with afternoon tea and guest speakers including Yasmin Nagalazas (CEO Parkinsons WA), Gary Hodge - (Chair Ausdance WA), Ella Waterworth (OT & Lead Teacher, Lifespan Dance) Jac El-Saleh - Dance & Philanthropy, a well as four of the original dancers - Lois, Derek, Shelley & John - still dancing a decade on. With a special video message from
Erica-Rose Jeffrey - Director, Dance for Parkinson's, and screening of the stunning film 'Capturing Grace' https://www.capturinggracefilm.com/ the day was a reminder of the power and evolution of dance as an relevant social connector. We are grateful to all the people who attended this wonderful celebration. Onwards we go in 2025!
